Ask and you shall receive.

"Ask, and it shall be given
Seek, and ye shall find
Knock, and it shall be opened."

Several weeks ago, I sat in bed thinking to myself, "I should probably look into getting a second job." Not 24 hours later, Cedars of Lebanon called saying they wanted to hire me, even though it had been months since I applied.

Last night I got off work at Cedars and spent the time I should be sleeping laying in bed thinking about how I can NOT hack it in that restaurant; as you learned from my previous post. SO this morning I write the last blog. Then I get to the spa and the owner asks how my job at the restaurant is going. After a short rant of how the job is breaking my spirit she says, "Well, we just had to get rid of the two receptionists, would you be interested in working as one of our receptionists part time? As many hours as you want, but not mornings."
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not EVEN 24 hours went by this time before a new opportunity presented itself to me!!

So I spent the first half of the day deliberating what would be the best choice for me. To which I concluded: I would be a FOOL to not take the receptionist job! I love the spa and want to help it succeed however I can. I really like the owners and would love to be able to help them out. PLUS, then I get to see more about what running a spa is actually like. GREAT education for my future, and will definitely look shiny on my resume. BESIDES, I love being in the spa!! It's a job that I know I wouldn't dread going to. So of course, I HAD to take it!

THEN, I spent the rest of the day trying to figure out how I am going to quit at the restaurant. I am not a quitter, and since I am a total people-pleaser disappointment is not something I do well. On top of wondering about that I was also dreading going in tonight.
THEN, I get off work at the spa to a message waiting for me, "Crystal, the restaurant is dead tonight, so don't bother coming in tonight. Thanks."

THANK YOU UNIVERSE!!!!!!
(She screams into the night like a fireman going to a building that has no fire..)

My point, if there is one, is that you should never EVER disregard the power of the Universe. If you want something and you ask the universe for it, with good faith, the universe will answer you. Of course you need to ask for something reasonable and something you deserve. Life has a tendency to get so intense and heavy at times, you just have to remember that the Universe and your angels are here to take care of you. You are never alone. Have faith, and the faith will guide you through.

I am SO ECSTATIC I don't even know what to do with myself!!!!! AHHHH!!!
I figure a glass of wine and a ranting blog is a good way to start... Now, what next? .....
